Vegan treat basket!

Detox Time
Hello! Today we are going to talk about cleaning. Body cleaning. It's great to leave in an exciting city like NYC; but sometimes our body needs a break. The pollution, the computer and cell phone radiation, the cigarette smoke, the chemical pesticides, the processed foods and the alcohol makes our body overloaded and intoxicated.
A good way to start the process is having a good fresh juice. Specially in the warm weather, it will refresh and relieve your body right away!
Here are some recipes that you can easily make at home:
Sprouts surprise:
1 apple, 1/4 lb alfalfa or clove sprout
6 fresh mint leaves, 3 carrots
Lemon essence:
8 carrots, 1 apple, juice of 1 lemon, piece of (1 inch) ginger root (must be peeled and grated before)
Great grapes:
20 green grapes, 10 strawberries, 1 apple, 2 mint branch.
Happy ginger:
2 apples, 2 pears, 1 small piece of ginger root (peeled and grated)
Great for breakfast because activates your body and taste buds
Delicious pineapple:
Half pineapple peeled and sliced, 1 small piece of ginger, 4 mint leaves
(This recipe is also great warm, when is winter)
In your daily routine, be aware of the items that help in the detox process; and the toxic ones;
to detox:
fruit juices and (raw) vegetables
water
sprouts
legumes and seeds
wholewheat grains
avoid:
alcohol
sugar
coffee
dairy products
meat
seafood
cigarette
